A close relative is raising funds for her children's school. The funds donated will be used directly for educational materials for which the state of California has cut funding. Also, the funds raised will directly pay for various art programs, P.E., music, poetry, access to computers and software programs. real time. Receipts for tax purposes will be mailed to donors. The school’s tax id number will be included. Please make checks payable to Miraloma PTA with "Alexander Room 102 & Max Room K2 Readathon" written in the memo section. Please pass this along to everyone you know…including anyone who needs an education donation source!
As you know, CA is continuing to cut all of the funding for art, music and sports in all of the schools and these programs are essential for children with sensory issues, in their developmental progress, etc. These funds basically cover everything but the lights and the teacher’s salaries – seriously not kidding here.
